Kenya eTA Application Requirements

• Tourist eTA: For tourism, sightseeing, and leisure travel in Kenya.
• Transit eTA: For travellers passing through Kenya to another destination.
• Business eTA: For business meetings, trade activities, and other commercial purposes.
• Conference eTA: For attending conferences, seminars, workshops, and professional events.
• Crew eTA (Planes or Ships): For airline and maritime crew members travelling on duty.
• Family Visit eTA: For visiting family members or relatives in Kenya.
• Medical eTA: For travellers seeking medical treatment in Kenya.
• Positioning Crew eTA: For crew members joining, replacing, or repositioning on an aircraft or vessel.

Kenya eTA Validity and Stay Duration 

All Kenya eTA types, except the Transit eTA, are issued with the following conditions:

Transit eTA 

• Entry Type: Single Entry
• Validity: 90 days
• Stay Duration: 24 hours

Kenya eTA applications are typically processed within approximately 3-5 days under standard processing. If you need your eTA sooner, you can choose one of the following faster processing options:

• Rush Processing: Takes approximately 2 - 3 Days
• Super Rush Processing: Takesapproximately 1 - 2 Days

Kenya eTA Fee 

The total fee for a Kenya eTA depends on: 

• The entry type selected (single-entry or multiple-entry, where available)
• The processing option selected (Standard, Rush, or Super Rush)

Applying for a Kenya eTA is Quick and Simple

Step 1: Online Application

Complete the Kenya eTA Application form by:

• Providing a passport and personal details. Selecting eTA type. 
• Answering security, background, and declaration questions.
• Choosing a processing option and uploading the required documents.

Step 2: eTA Delivery

• Pay the eTA fee using a credit/debit card. 
• Regularly check your email for any updates.
• Respond promptly to any additional document or information requests.
• The approved Kenya eTA will be delivered via email.

Step 3: Arrival in Kenya 

• Upon reaching Kenya, present your passport, approved eTA and other requested documents.
• Stay for the specified time, leave the country, and re-enter if you have a multiple-entry permit.
