Travellers Exempt from Kenya eTA Requirements

Who Must Apply for a Kenya eTA?
All other travelers, including infants and children, whose nationality falls under the eligible countries for Kenya eTA list must obtain an eTA before departure.

Start Filling Kenya eTA Application Form
Apply for the Kenya eTA by following the steps mentioned below:
1. Select Country of Residence
- Select your country of residence (where you live and pay taxes).
- For resident diplomats of Kenya, select Kenya.
2. Provide Passport Information
- Upload a photo or scan of the biodata page of your passport (the page with your photo and name).
- The portal will extract all the passport information after upload.
3. Upload Selfie or Photo
- Provide a recently taken photo with your face clearly visible, similar to a passport-style photo.
4. Enter Your Contact Information
- Provide your contact details for application processing and communication.
5. Provide Accurate Trip Information
- Select the main purpose of your visit to Kenya.
- Arrival details: Expected date, flight information, and starting country of your trip.
- Departure details: Expected departure date and final destination (excluding transit points).
- Address(es) in Kenya: Hotel/guesthouse name or residential address.
6. Answer General Questions
- Answer questions to complete your enrollment with necessary general information.
7. Customs Declaration
- Respond honestly to questions related to biosecurity, customs, and law enforcement.
8. Health Declaration
- Provide information about your current health status and the countries you’ve visited in the past 21 days at the time of application.
9. Insurance Information
- Answer the question if you have valid medical insurance for Kenya. If you select “Yes” then fill in the details and if you select “No” then click on continue to proceed.
10. Submit Required Documents
- Upload the scans of required documents applicable to the purpose of visit selected.
11. Confirm and Proceed
This step requires your confirmation and agreement. Ensure all provided information is complete, current, and accurate. You must review and modify any section before proceeding.
12. Complete Your Application
- Select the appropriate processing time based on your travel date, then complete your application with a safe and secure payment method. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
